Friends of Acapulco celebrates reunion in Casa Hogar
Summoned by Friends of Acapulco, AC, infants harbored by the Salvation Army Children's Home, Marsh Home House Hogar del Niño de Acapulco and Casa Hogar del Padre Angel, met at the premises of the International Centre Acapulco.
This was disclosed by Marilu Baca, president of Friends of Acapulco, AC, accompanied by Don Houglund Ron Lavender, Raul Alcaraz and Juan Estifen, adding that the meeting had two objectives: first, that managers and young people different shelters already know both can help each other, because if any of them have a food in large quantities at a time can share with other group homes who lack it and vice versa; second, to take a souvenir photo with benefactors, as they do every year for the yearbook.

Father Angel was removed from parish life to live at Casa Hogar
The day-to-day work is done by the boys themselves, each of whom has assigned chores. The teaching of self-reliance and self-sufficiency has been a common theme in all of Padre Angel's youth programs.
The children are taught personal hygiene, good manners and religious beliefs as well as self-sufficiency.
Many of his former residents have gone on to successful careers. Rene Juarez Cisneros, the just retired Governor of the State of Guerrero, was himself at one time in the charge of Padre Angel. The Boys and Girls Homes are administered jointly – under the formal name of Granja Hogar Para el Niño La Providencia A.C.
Biography
Born in Tecpan de Galeana, Guerrero. the August 2, 1928, at three hours. Son of Reyes Martinez and Ysabel Galeana. He received the Sacrament of Baptism on October 2, 1928 in the parish of St. Bartholomew the Apostle in Tecpan de Galeana, Guerrero.
