Padre Ángel

Born in Tecpan de Galeana, Guerrero. the August 2, 1928, at three hours. Son of Reyes Martinez and Ysabel Galeana. He received the Sacrament of Baptism on October 2, 1928 in the parish of St. Bartholomew the Apostle in Tecpan de Galeana, Guerrero. hands of the priest Marcial Miguel Ventura. He received the Sacrament of Confirmation on August 24, 1932 by the Servant of God Leopoldo Diaz Escudero, Bishop of Chilapa. He received First Communion on October 3, 1935 from the hands of the priest Isidoro Ramirez. He entered the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception in Chilapa, Guerrero. on January 2, 1940. He spent the Pontifical Mexican National Seminary of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Montezuma, New Mexico, September 3, 1945, where he studied philosophy and theology.

He received his priestly ordination on October 18, 1951 at the Temple of the Holy Name of Mary, the Servant of God Leopoldo Diaz Escudero, along with fourteen companions. He celebrated his first Mass on October 27, 1951.

In 1953 appears as Professor of Latin in Year 2 of the Diocesan Theological Seminary Chilapa. Parochial Vicar of Our Lady of Carmen in the Barrio del West, Acapulco, Gro. from January 11 to April 19, 1959. On February 25, 1959 he was appointed Member of the Commission of the Good Shepherd Seminary Acapulco; Director of the Children's Farm Home and Office Manager Providence Boy Scout. April 10, 1959. Appointment of removable pastor of Our Lord of Pardon in Colonia La Garita de Juárez, Acapulco, Gro. November 12, 1959. Appointment of Ordinary Confessor of Mercy Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament, the College America in Las Playas, Acapulco, Gro. May 15, 1961. Appointment of Ordinary Confessor of the Franciscan Sisters of St. Joseph, the Seminary of the Good Shepherd in Acapulco.

Pastor of St. Nicholas of Bari in Colonia La Laja, Acapulco, Gro. of May 11, 1963 to April 29, 1967. November 16, 1964. Appointment of Ordinary Confessor of the Carmelite Missionary Sisters of St. Therese, the sanatorium of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in the Division Mozimba, Acapulco, Gro. On March 27, 1965, appears as Vicar of Don Isidore RAMIREZ, pastor of Atoyac de Alvarez. On January 25, 1967, the Council of Priests of the Diocese of Acapulco is in compliance with the provisions of Decree N. Presbytero- Ordinis 7 being composed of priests: Rafael Bello Ruiz, Rector of the Seminary of the Good Shepherd in Acapulco ; Angel Martinez Galeana; Gregory M. Bello, Pastor Petatlán; Moses and Jesus Carmona Jiménez Abarca. José Pilar Quezada Valdés, Bishop of Acapulco. Juvenal Porcayo Pbro Uribe. Secretary. On April 6, 1967 he was appointed Commissioner Tourism Diocesan Apostolate. On December 30, 1968, commission is to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Diocese: Angel Martinez Galeana, Pastor of Puerto Marques; Rafael Bello Ruiz, Rector of the Seminary; Pedro E. Sánchez, pastor of the Holy Family. José Pilar Quezada Valdés, Bishop of Acapulco. Juvenal Porcayo Pbro Uribe. Secretary.

On April 13, 1972 he was appointed Member of the Administrative Board of the Seminary of the Good Shepherd in Acapulco. On December 24, 1973 is appointed Chaplain of the Diocesan Church of Santa María Reina de la Paz, in Las Brisas, Acapulco, Gro. On June 30, 1976 he was appointed Vicar General, Monsignor Rafael Bello Ruiz, Bishop of Acapulco. On 19 May 1977 he was appointed National Secretary of the Maritime Apostolate On April 10, 1978 he was appointed pastor of Christ the King in the Division Magallanes, Acapulco, Gro. Taking as collaborators Priests Jesus Alba and Francisco Gutiérrez Nava. On October 2, 2000 he was appointed Member of the College of Consultors. On October 2, 2000 he was appointed Vicar General Pro. On 24 January 2001 he was appointed Dean in front of the Dean Number Two. On 25 January 2001 he was appointed Member of the Council of Priests. On 14 May 2001 he was appointed Vicar General. On 30 November 2003 he was appointed pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Queen of Mexico in the Division Magallanes, Acapulco, Gro. and Senior Pastoral provisional Cristo Rey Complex Fractionation in Magallanes, Acapulco, Gro.

In 2012 it hosted the largest benevolent decision to walk in retreat, under the obediciencia of Acapulco Archbishop Monsignor Carlos Garfias Merlos.
